Inside an Apple Top Podcast: 3 Books Proves Interviews Can Be Different

The podcast 3 Books was selected by Apple as a Top Podcast for 2018 and has featured some truly incredible guests: Malcolm Gladwell, Judy Blume, Seth Godin, David Sedaris, Pete Holmes, and more.

BUT … it’s ultimately just another interview show.

So what makes the show special? And what can we learn? Today on 3 Clips, we profile a kindred podcast spirit with 3 Books (notice any similarities? Us neither…) Plus, host Neil Pasricha shares his techniques for warming up guests so they spill the goods, as well as his cold outreach email that he used to land his most famous guest, Judy Blume!

3 Clips is sponsored by Casted, the world’s first B2B podcasting platform, helping marketers upload, distribute, market, and measure your show. Casted is building tools specifically for us marketers who make shows, with an eye towards B2B for things like sales enablement, lead nurturing, and full-funnel use cases for your show. Casted is not only a great partner to MSR in this movement, they’re focused on our niche alone. No more using tools meant for the media or hobbyists — only marketers.
