How a Startup Makes a Daily Podcast Entirely In-House: Inside ProfitWell’s Recur Now

Abby Sullivan is the co-host and editor of the daily podcast Recur Now, from ProfitWell. The company isn’t huge (they recently passed 100 employees across 3 offices, mainly found in Boston). They don’t have endless resources, nor a roster of expensive freelancers or award-winning agencies at their disposal. What they have, instead, is a commitment to the original series as the new way marketing is done. They serve their audience more deeply than their peers.

Still, a DAILY podcast? That’s a huge task, requiring equal parts smart planning and grit and hustle. How do they do it? What’s been working? What’s been hard? And what can we all learn to publish our podcasts more consistently — and consistently BETTER podcasts — regardless of our cadence?

We go inside Recur Now with three key clips that reveal quite a bit.
